background

Robin GreavesAfter studying architecture at the Architectural Association I was elected to the RIBA and trained as an arbitrator. I then trained and worked as a commercial mediator with the Centre for Dispute Resolution, with MEND as a neighbourhood mediator, with the Environment Council as an environmental mediator, and with Victim Support as a counsellor to victims of crime and traumatic incidents. I studied for a masters degree in computer science at the University of London, and am a member of the Chartered Institute for Project Management.

Prior to founding Phoenix Change Consultancy in Finland, I was an Associate Director at Cyril Sweett, an international multi-disciplinary practice in London, England. There I managed contracts for several Public-private Partnership (PPP) schools contracts and developed the role of the Independent Certifier for their hospital PPP contracts. I provided that service for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in London.

Working for the Chief Executive of Greenwich Council, I facilitated the design and implementation of inner city regeneration programmes that were centred on providing integrated care and education services to young children and their families. From their inception to delivery, the facilitations identified, focused, and coordinated stakeholders to drive their design and manage their development. As well as the government agencies involved, stakeholders included professional, and community groups, as well as local disaffected youth.

For Cyril Sweett, and for Greenwich Council, I devised, and managed the design of several IT driven organisational change projects.
